Protesters block National Highway in Malda after double murders

Angry demonstrators disrupt traffic flow on the national highway in Malda after the murder of two individuals in Englishbazar. Chandu Paswan, aged 21, was fatally stabbed in a family dispute in Kulipada, while another individual, Sur Rahman, was found dead with his throat slit in Katagar. Local residents express outrage over the incidents, leading to a protest and subsequent highway blockade, though police intervention restores order. The Englishbazar police launch investigations into the murders and arrange for post-mortem examinations on the victims' bodies.
